GOLIATH OPENS AT SIX FLAGS FIESTA TEXAS Guests may now experience the ultimate inverted coaster, Goliath, as riders are propelled 10-stories skyward before soaring 50 mph down an 80-foot drop and into the ride of their lives! Goliath combines state-of-the-art thrill technology and features unique high-speed yellow, blue and orange ski lift style trains suspended over radiating blue steel track leaving riders with nothing but the air beneath their feet! Passengers literally go head over heels as they careen through the outside of five inversions, two vertical loops, two corkscrews and a one-of-a-kind zero-gravity heartline spin that will leave riders breathless!
NORTH STAR MALL OPENS NEW STORES North Star, owned and managed by General Growth Properties, Inc. (NYSE:GGP), has been a long-time favorite of shoppers and is set to welcome a host of new stores – Apple, Juicy Couture, Bare Escentuals, PacSun, and Pumpkin Patch – to its impressive retail mix.
“Part of North Star’s appeal in attracting retailers like Apple and Juicy Couture is the center’s popularity as a shopping destination, not only for tourists, conventioneers, and Mexican Nationals; but also its long-standing support from local residents,” says Cornell Holmes, senior general manager for North Star. “These five new retailers further enhance our tenant offerings and complement the center’s new contemporary look and unique experience.”

After 5 years of planning, research, road trips and development, Cowcatchers Steaks has gone from a dream to reality. The concept of a Great Steakhouse at a moderate price in a turn of the century 1890’s – 1900’s setting, located in an area that will retrain the country atmosphere of long ago has finally come home to roost.
Cowcatchers features three dining rooms. The main dining room spaciously seats 146 with a full bar. Our tables are custom made by local craftsmen adding to our flavor. The medium dining room seats 78 and is also spaciously set for our customers comfort. Cowcatchers has one more distinctly different feature in our private dining room “Chambers”. Chambers has private parking and entrance, private foyer and restrooms, private dining and private porch with only wait staff having room access.
Garrett’s Watering Hole is another unique feature of Cowcatchers. Garrett’s is an air conditioned/heated waiting room with a full bar and entertainment that will seat 125 people. No more standing outside or huddled together inside while you wait. To add to the customers comfort will be entertainment in the form of western style music and cowboy poetry.
